HOW TWC GIVES BACK
(Mission Initiatives)
From Acts 1:8, we receive instructions from Jesus Christ regarding our role on Earth…
“and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
TWC accepts the responsibility of being Jesus’ witness here on Earth. We understand that “Jerusalem” equates to our local communities, “Judea” represents our state and region, “Samaria” represents crossing racial and ethnic boundaries and “the ends of the earth” signifies our national and global reach. With this understanding, we are committed to Making A Difference in the lives of a variety of people both near and far.
How Do We “Make A Difference”? It starts with TWC giving back 10% of every dollar received in an effort to impact lives in three critical areas: Education (E), Life Change (LC), and Economic Empowerment (EE). This has been our focus and strategy for a very long time. To date over 7 Million Dollars has been given by TWC for our mission efforts. In order to increase our impact financially, we recently established an endowment, Make A Difference Alabama Endowment. The Endowment further increases our ability to make a difference through our mission efforts and well as help our mission partners transform lives for God’s glory.
